Agritranslate's agricultural specialists provide the following technical translation service:
Depending on your target audience or your specific needs, we can translate into neutral standard Spanish -understandable in all Spanish speaking countries- or into Castilian (the Spanish spoken in Spain) and Latin American Spanish of different regions, from Mexico to Argentina. Likewise, you can have your document translated into British or American English.

Turnarounds
We can meet demanding deadlines, as long as that does not go to the detriment of quality. Our average output is 1,500-3,000 words a day, depending on the complexity of the text and our work schedule.
Translation Process
Documents are usually received via e-mail. If you do not have your document in electronic format, you may send us it by fax or mail.
Translations are always assigned to a native speaker of the target language -the project manager-, whether a member of the team or a freelancer on our database of external professional translators, all of whom are also agricultural specialists.
Once completed, every translation is checked for terminological and semantic accuracy by a reviewer. Next, it is sent back to the project manager so that he evaluates the remarks or corrections made by the reviewer, if any, and makes the necessary changes. Then, the material goes through proofreading for style, grammar, spelling and punctuation, which is performed by a third translator. Finally, the translation returns to the project manager, who rereads it once again before it is sent to the client. Thus, the technical translation process consists of five steps, which in the case of rush deadlines can be reduced to three ones -the first review and the proofreading being carried out simultaneously- but without compromising quality.
Throughout the translation process, we always keep permanent contact with the client so as to clarify any doubts which could arise from the reading of the source document, e.g., ambiguous sentences or terms, confusing syntax or punctuation, possible mistakes, etc.
Our vast and permanently updated agricultural glossary -built up by constantly incorporating new terms over the translation process itself- allows us a consistent and standardized use of the terminology throughout a document and between different documents on the same subject and/or of the same client. This also prevents us from looking up the same term more than once.
For the sake of consistency and uniformity, every project is always entrusted to just one translator -the project manager. That is, we never split documents into parts to be assigned to more than one translator to speed up the process, since everyone has a unique personal style, which would make it virtually impossible to achieve a seamlessly homogeneous translation in terms of style. Therefore, only the editing and proofreading processes are performed by translators other than the project manager, who is the last to read the translation before its delivery.
You will receive your translated document in the same format as that of the source file, that is, a ready-to-print file. This makes Agritranslate a one-stop provider of high class agricultural services in the area of technical translation. We work with different desktop publishing software, such as Words, Excel, PowerPoint, FrameMaker, PageMaker, QuarkXPress, Illustrator, CorelDraw and PhotoShop. You can also have your document in a PDF file.
Post-delivery support
Since full client satisfaction is our main commitment, the agricultural services we provide do not finish with the delivery of the translation. We will be always at your disposal either to clarify any doubts that might arise or to make any necessary changes.
Confidentiality
The confidentiality of our clients' materials is absolutely assured. Under no circumstances will the content of the documents be disclosed to any person other than the members of our team or the freelance translator dealing with the project. A non-disclosure agreement can be signed at the client's request.
